Bayern Munich thrash Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 to maintain perfect start in Champions League

Bayern on the path to another title

Goals from Joshua Kimmich & Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting seal comfortable victory

German champions Bayern Munich continued their perfect start to the UEFA Champions League campaign with a 2-0 triumph over GNK Dinamo Zagreb at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.

Goals from Joshua Kimmich and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting secured the win for the Bavarians, who now top Group E with six points from two matches.

Bayern looked in control from the very beginning and deservedly took the lead in the 20th minute when Kimmich fired a low drive into the bottom corner from outside the box.

Choupo-Moting doubled the lead just after the hour mark with a close-range finish, after being set up by Leroy Sane.

Bayern should have added more goals but were denied by a combination of poor finishing and good saves from Dinamo goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.

Nevertheless, Bayern secured a comfortable victory that keeps them firmly on course for another Champions League title.
